I have no idea if this link will work for everyone or not but here we go. Click on this Garmin link which will take you to my bike workout last night. You should see something like this:
Click on the 'play' button at the top and watch the map as you see me cycle around my local lake. Pay special attention to the bottom where you see Total Time, Total Distance, Elevation, Speed, and Heart Rate all play out in real time. You can see when I'm climbing and fighting the wind and when I'm descending and have the wind at my back.
Pretty neat stuff! The technology....not my ride!

Worked for me. That is pretty neat. Were you riding a beach cruiser??? Was that on a bike path or the road??ildeness
My city bike (Cannondale Bad Boy). Mostly path some road. Dropped my water bottle at one point. Plan to get out on the TT this weekend and then post that one!
I was kidding about the beach cruiser by the way. Is that a decent route for a tt bike???? The trails over here get super crowded especially on the weekends and I can almost ride just as fast on my mountain bike.
Actually, I'd love to get a crusier. I think they are cool. I would not ride the TT on these trails. Too crowded, too many holes, etc. Hell, I get yelled at by people walking for going to fast the way it is and then I move to the street and get yelled at by cars. It's a lose-lose. I'll be taking the TT out to Baker Park this weekend and cruise. Wide open spaces!
If you're looking for a good cruise on the TT, head up my way to Forest Lake. We have an old railroad track that was converted to a bike path that runs from Hugo all the way up to North Branch. Fairly level, smooth, and not crowded at all.
